SMAP‘s Tsuyoshi Kusanagi will be working once again with Korean actor Cha Seung Won for the stage play- “Boku ni Hono no Sensha wo“.The said play is set in 1920 swhen Korea was still Japanese rule. Kusanagi plays a Korean-based Japanese teacher where half of his lines will be in Korean. “My head goes ippai ippai,” Kusanagi commented with a grin.
Cha Seung-Won have previously worked with Kusanagi five years ago. “I think that Kusanagi-san is sincere and is good in fostering friendly relationships,” Kusanagi said as he translated Cha’s answers on his own that provoke laughter from the press.
Joining Kusanagi, are Ryoko Hirosue, Teruyuki Kagawa, and Johnny’s Junior Takada Sho.
“Boku ni Hono no Sensha wo” will run from Nov 3rd to Dec 1st at Akasaka ACT Theater in Tokyo.
