Director Satoshi Miki has gained lots of fans from his works, such as: “Instant Swamp” and “Jikou Keisatsu“. Now, he is inviting everyone to see his latest work starring KAT-TUN‘s Kamenashi Kazuya that will surely delight the audience with Satoshi’s different take on the world.
Based from Tomoyuki Hoshino‘s novel of the same title that won the Kenzaburō Ōe Prize, “Ore Ore” tells the story of a fraudster where Kamenashi will play 33 characters. Such role play is nothing new for Kamenashi who have portrayed a “humanoid monster” for “Yokai Ningen Bem”. Furthermore, Kamenashi’s complicated role of portraying 33 characters has broaden his scope as an actor and thereby removing the “idol” stereotype on him. In addition, Kamenashi will be joined by Ryo Kase, who will play the sarcastic boss, and Yuki Uchida will play the mysterious heroine.
Lastly, there will be “33 Various Me stickers” that will be released featuring 33 characters played by Kamenashi. Stickers will be released upon availability of advance tickets on Dec 15th.
“Ore Ore” will have its theatrical release on May 25th, 2013.
