Replacing Sato Shori‘s midnight drama “49” is another Johnny’s-filled acting neophytes taking leap from idols to band members. Moreover, a rising Johnny’s favorite after being given a hosting gig, Kin Kan‘s Hirano Sho will try on acting in his first lead role.
It was announced that Johnny’s Jr. Hirano Sho will have star in his first drama titled “SHARK”. “SHARK” tells the story of friendship between band members as they struggle to land a major label debut and their everyday lives.
Hirano plays a child prodigy with an overconfident nature and he will be SHARK’s lead vocalist. Joining Hirano in the band are his fellow Johnny’s Jrs, which includes: Matsumura Hokuto (keyboard), Hamada Takahiro (lead guitar), Kamiyama Tomohiro (side guitar), Fujii Ryusei (vocals), and Snow Man’s Iwamoto Hikaru (drums).
Since this will be a music drama, “SHARK” will be a limited band that will also showcase their original music.
“SHARK” will air on Jan 11th at 24:50 (JST).
