After getting singles, it’s now a drama!
It has been announced that Kis-My-Ft2‘s “BUSAIKU” (group of dance festival), namely: Senga Kento, Wataru Yokoo, Miyata Toshiya, and Nikaido Takashi will be starring in their own NTV late night drama. The said drama is called “Heisei mai sai gumi otoko“ ( Heisei busaiku salaryman) where the four members will play as salaryman.
Written by Yamaura Masahiro, the drama will be set in a confectionery store in Nishi-Tokyo and will comically draw the sad lives of 4 salary workers, who cant’ work, can’t read the atmosphere, and overshadowed by their more competent office mates; yet they has to faced different hurdles like company downsizing and restructuring.
The four members will also be playing using their real name as they portray different characters. Yokoo plays a bad senpai, Miyata as the simple and innocent type, Nikaido as sports-oriented type, and Senga is the fashionable one.
Filming has started at the beginning of this month and the members expressed their joy and excitement. “I was very glad on starring in our first drama, but to be honest, I thought our Manager called us to say that Busaiku is set to end,”Nikaido shared.
Joining the rest of the cast, are: Maiko, Minamisawa Nao, Nomaguchi Toru, and Shiga Kotaro.
“Heisei mai sai gumi otoko“ ( Heisei busaiku salaryman) will air on NTV on Oc 18th at 12:50 am (JST).
