Well, everything for the movie.
It was announced that Kis-My-Ft2‘s Tamamori Yuta have debuted in Ameba, a popular blogging platform in Japan, as part of “Raintree no Kuni” movie’s official blog. The movie tells the love story between two people who met on a blog.
Tamamori made a comment on the first blog post, writing, “at last, an Ameba debut. I always imagined how various entertainers make their introductions and now it’s finally my time…”
In a related news, Tamamori and co-star Nishiuchi Mariya attended the completion showcase of the movie together with the book’s author, Arikawa Hiro. Arikawa is also known for her more popular novels like Toshokan Sensou (Library Wars), Kencho Omotenashi Ka (Hospitality Department), and Hankyu Densha. This will also be the third time for Arikawa to worked with the movie’s director, Miyake Yoshishige. The two have worked before in Kencho Omotenashi Ka and Hankyu Densha.
With regards to the movie, Tamamori shared that when he heard he’ll be doing his first movie, he was happy and he wanted to exert himself obediently. However, he also shared that there was anxiety in using Kansai accent since he’s unfamiliar with it. Despite Tamamori’s lack of confidence in his Kansai usage, Nishiuchi says that she thinks it was pretty natural (accent).
“Raintree no Kuni” will hit the theaters on Oct 21st.
