Hey!Say!JUMP to Host their First Countdown Live

JUMPers are rejoicing but the hypens are lamenting….

2015 is indeed a good year for Hey!Say!JUMP, aside from co-hosting NTV’s “24 Hr TV” with V6 and joining Arashi in their “Waku Waku Gakkou”, the 9 member group will be having their solo “Countdown Live” at Kyocera Dome on the last two nights of December.

The live countdown will be held on Dec 30th and 31st at Kyocera Dome in Osaka and the two-night performance is expected to mobilize 90,000 people. Hey!Say!JUMP is the youngest group, with an average age of 23, to have their solo countdown live. The trend was started by KinKi Kids in 2009, followed by Kanjani8 in 2010 to 2011, and KAT-TUN in 2013 to 2014.

Takaki Yuya is excited to be doing the countdown at his birthplace while Yamada Ryosuke is all fired-up with this challenge in greeting 2016.

Anyway, congratulations to Hey!Say!JUMP, more good things to come.

  1. Just want to fix a bit about the year for KinKi and Kanjani8: KK performed countdown concert at Kyocera only in 2008, K8 was the one done it from 2009 to 2011, while there was no countdown concert in 2012. Just want to let you know about that.
Also, I heard that Fuji TV finally reach an agreement with JE to let this year Johnny’s Countdown to be broadcast live by them? would be great if that’s true.

Got anything to say?
