Another edition of Bits & Pieces, just because I don’t really know how to filter them into bits of news or news. I promise I’ll be more consistent soon! Involved parties are: Arashi‘s Aiba Masaki, Kanjani8‘s Nishikido Ryo & Murakami Shingo, and Hey! Say! Jump‘s Takaki Yuya.
- Aiba Masaki will be narrating for NHK’s ETV for “21 nin no Wa, Are Kara 5 Nen go no Kodomo tachi, Fukishima, Soma” which will be broadcast on Saturday 19th of March. from 16:00 to 17:00. The documentary will be talking about how the children are living now, as first year high school students, and what they are planning for their future. via jnews1
- Nishikido Ryo‘s drama, Teru Teru Family, will be re-broadcast from April 11th on NHK BS Premium, every Monday at 7PM. For those who are not familiar, Teru Teru Family was on broadcast from Sep 2003 till March 2004; it tells the story of a family in Osaka who runs a bakery. Nishikido plays Ishihara Satomi‘s boyfriend in the drama, so I’m guessing he’s not there all the time. Anyway, Ryo won the Rookie Award for the 7th Nikkan Sports Drama Awards for that role, so it must be good, right? I’ll be trying to catch that one on air. via jnews1
I also found pictures of Ryo when he was in the drama! He’s sooo cute >< [OMG!-Miku]
- Beat Takeshi & Kanjani8‘s Murakami Shingo teams up again for “Sekai! Kyukuben Artist Best 20“, which will be broadcast on March 15th at 21:00. The show will be ranking 20 best artist around the world. Additional cast are Oizumi Hiroshi, Shimizu Fumika and Takahashi Daisuke via jnews1
- Takaki Yuya calls his mother “mama”. Yamada Ryosuke revealed on School Kakumei, that Takaki Yuya was one to call his mother, “mama”. “He’s the one who looks the most like a Yankee, but when he goes back home, he’s like “Mama!” That gap just surprises so much.” In the show, the survey shows that 70% of the women interviewed thought that calling their own mother “mama” was no good, but since it was revealed that Takaki does it, maybe it would get lower. Who knows? via jnews1
