My last post on jnewseng was back in September, when I was still in Tokyo.  I came back to my home country in October and have been here ever since even if at many occasions I was supposed to go back and continue my Japanese language studies.

A lot of things has happened. We had many deaths in the family, the end of 2016 was not kind to our family. On top of that, we had family problems and feuds, and a lot of things are changing and my lifestyle will subsequently be changing as well. It was a little bit of a nightmare. I have to say, my family has a knack for drama.

So… we’re in March 2017 and I’m still in Phnom Penh. I don’t know how may times I told my friends and family that I should be gone by this date, but I should be back before the end of this month at least. My plans are again being pushed for the simplest reasons, but I cannot blame anyone for it.

We’ve (probably) all had a really rough year in 2016 and I think we all need a break in 2017.

I’m sure for a lot of us, the Johnny’s are a that sort of break that we all need at the end of the week to just escape from reality. And these past few months were too much for me mostly because I didn’t get to see or follow up on any Johnny’s news.

I feel so bad for not updating or leave a word or a notice and I feel like I have failed myself and you guys who are waiting for news, updates or just small anecdotes from our favourite boys. I do miss them myself.

This blog used to be run by Miku. I started as a writer here and when Miku had to leave because she was getting busier, I had to sort of become my own boss. I managed to discipline myself at first and got quite a bit of posts under my belt but as life got a bit harsher, I guess I just kind of lost that discipline bit by bit. I know it’s no excuse, but I do want the readers to know.

I really don’t know what or how I am going to be able to pick up and liven this blog yet, and I would really love to get your help actually.

I was never sure of what I wanted the blog to be. Would it be better as a more professional and news-like blog or would it sit better as it is, or should I drive it into something that’s more me?

It would be great to know what you guys think.

I hope you would give me time to figure out how to put back my messed up life in a more orderly manner. Until then, I would want to just maybe post random updates at random times, or I might not. I really want to be in a better state of mind than right now when I write for the blog.

Thank you for your time.

  1. Thank you for taking your time to write this.
I am sorry for your loss and I can only wish you a better year.

For the blog, I would be delighted if you come back !
For the kind of articles, I would say the one who want to write most ? ^^
I like the casual, and yet very informative you did ^^ I like reading your opinion, it opens the discussion =)
But if you are not sure, you could test it ? one article by genre, we could see what you have in mind and we could give you feedback !

The most important thing is to take care of yourself ! If you need time we will wait, if you need to write this blog, we’ll be reading !

    1. I’ll probably try to write a bit of both and see which one guys like the most. I do like the more casual type of posts but I do tend to deviate to other things and it ends up being mostly my opinion and not much of the news . That’s why I try to be more news-like. Thank you so much for your comment, it really means a lot!

  2. Please don’t worry about disappointing your readers. Take all the time you need and I hope, things will get better for you this year 🙂
To be honest, I don’t mind how you want to shape your blog. I like it as it is but if you would like it to be more news-like, that would also be nice 🙂

  3. I like a casual blog that is done because the person loves to write and share their interests with others. I’m so sorry that you have had such a hard time. Last year was a bad one for many of us I think. Take your time and do what you need to do. I’ll be here to read when you have the time and energy to write and share again
