On the 5th of August 2016, TOKIO Yamaguchi Tatsuya will be divorcing his wife of 8 years.
This is an article based of the live broadcast of the press conference/interview. I was eating a pretty late lunch when TBS show GOGO~ SMILE~ broadcasted the live event. So here’s what I’ve been able to catch.
If TOKIO’s Nagase Tomoya is surprise to see how much Kamiki have grown then I’m surprise on how he stayed so hot. Phew…
As reported earlier, TOKIO‘s Nagase Tomoya will star in Kudo Kankuro‘s movie, titled: TOO YOUNG TO DIE! Wakakushite Shinu (Juvenile Grave)”. The said movie also stars one of the most talented actors of his generation, Kamiki Ryunosuke, as a high school student who died in an accident before he could make a love confession to a classmate. Kamiki will go to hell where he will meet Killer K (Nagase), a guitarist and vocalist of Jigoku-zu and adviser of Music Club from Hell’s Agricultural High School. Killer K will help Daisuke to be reborn using a special demon training so Daisuke can claim his unrequited love.
During the movie’s press conference, Nagase is surprise to see how Kamiki have grown to a strong young man, 15 years after they first acted together. Kamiki was still in elementary while Nagase was 22 years old, the same age as Kamiki now. Nagase joked that if they will go through the same flow and act together after 15 years, he will be 51 years old next and after that, Nagase will be too damn old to even act. I can hear marriage bells calling you, Tomoya!
Anyway, aside from talking about their obvious age differences, Nagase’s make-up was also talked about. Nagase’s red make-up takes up to one and a half hour to finished, not to mention his Killer K outfit that weighs 10 kg in total. Other than that, the rest of the costume will be a surprise. Despite his heavy costume, Nagase loves his role. It’s been seven years since he has done a movie and he shared that even though his new movie might not be legendary, he knows that it will worth something.
Joining the rest of the gorgeous cast is equally oozing with sex appeal, Kiritani Kenta, as Jigoku-zu drummer, actress Ono Machiko as Nagase’s love interest, Morikawa Aoi as the classmate that Kamiki want to confessed at, Arata Furuta as Hell’s Agricultural High School principal, and many more.
“TOO YOUNG TO DIE! Wakakushite Shinu” is set to hit the theaters next year.
It’s been a long time since TOKIO‘s Nagase Tomoya had a note-worthy project and this will definitely be one of it. Nagase will be starring in a movie to be directed and written by Kudo Kankuro and he’ll also be starring with one of the most talented actor of his generation, Kamiki Ryunosuke. The said movie is titled “TOO YOUNG TO DIE! Wakakushite Shinu (Juvenile Grave)” that tells the story of a high school student, Daisuke (Kamiki), who died in an accident before he could make a love confession to a classmate. Daisuke goes to hell where he will meet Killer K (Tomoya), a guitarist and vocalist of Jigoku-zu and adviser of Music Club from Hell’s Agricultural High School. Killer K will help Daisuke to be reborn using a special demon training so Daisuke can claim his unrequited love.
Last Nov 2nd, TOKIO had the last leg of their “TOKIO 20th anniversary live tour HEART” at Nippon Budokan. 26,000 fans were mobilized in the span of two days.
TOKIO had their first live performance at the said venue 20 years ago when Tomoya Nagase was only 15 yrs old, “20 years full of love from everybody, I have no more words….TOKIO fans are cool!” Nagase was screaming his feelings of gratitude to their fans and there were even request that they wore the same skin tight shorts they had worn when they debuted.
During the encore, TOKIO’s kouhais joined them onstage. Arashi, Ikuta Toma, KAT-TUN‘s Nakamaru Yuichi and Ueda Tatsuya, Hey! Say!JUMP‘s Chinen Yuri and 14 members from Johnny’s Jr. joined in singing the classic song “JUMBO” altogether. Arashi’s Matsumoto Jun congratulated TOKIO and say that “they are the best” while Ninomiya Kazunari called them “supreme”.
Furthermore, the said live performance also mark the group’s 57th time to perform in Budokan and TOKIO’s leader, Joshima Shigeru, aims to perform in Budokan for 100 times so they can get gold colored paper. Joshima said that he’ll be an idol until he is 60 yrs old and hopefully, their 100th performance in Nippon Budokan will just be in time for their 40th anniversary.
TOKIO performed 23 songs in total including debut song, “LOVE YOU ONLY“, where fans joined them during chorus.
Our favorite Ojiisan‘s and Johnny’s only rock band will be celebrating 20 years since their debut and aside from best of album, TOKIO will be participating in an open-air rock festival for the first time.
