Last Dec 15th, popular group Arashi had the final leg of their Tokyo Dome concert as part of the gorup’s 5 major Dome Tour for their “LOVE” album. 60,000 fans attended the concert where the group performed 35 songs for three hours with a whooping triple encore.

The said tour started last Nov 8th at Nagoya and will wrapped-up at Fukuoka on Dec 22nd; yet the group have already managed to mobilize 804,000 audiences, a huge leap from 730,000 last year . In Tokyo Dome alone where there is only 55,000 seat capacity, Arashi decided to have a the circular stage in the middle instead of the usual rectangular stage; the said move gave them an extra 5,000 seats for audiences. Furthermore, the said stage is a reminiscent of Arashi’s 360-degree stage during their concert debut in Yokohama Arena back in 2000. It has been 13 years since they last used a similar set-up.

Arashi showed their polished and sexy dance moves that earned sighs from the audience. The group was in New York last summer where they received training under Jacquel Knight for “P.A.R.A.D.O.X.” , a known choreographer who also worked with Beyonce. “We dance during daytime and watched shows at night,” Aiba Masaki shared.

In addition, Arashi also attended Oricon‘s award ceremonies where the group manage to rank first in six categories that includes “highest total sales”. Aiba said that the 5-members went to a ramen restaurant after to celebrate their victory by having ramen and gyoza.

Aside from acting as chairmen for this year’s Kohaku Uta Gassen, the group will celebrate 2014 with plans for their 15th anniversary since their debut. “I want to think of new ways so that you can see a new Arashi,” Matsumoto Jun said.
