Ninomiya Kazunari’s To Play a Teacher in his New Drama

It was announced that Arashi‘s Ninomiya Kazunari will star in a TV drama, titled: “Yowakutemo, Katemasu ~ Aoshi-sensei to Heppoko Koukoukyuuji no Yabou” (tentavive title, translated to: Even if we’re weak we can win ~the ambition of Aoshi-sensei and the amateur high school baseball team ).

The said drama is inspired by Takahashi Hidemi‘s work, titled “The ‘You win even if weak’: theory in an open high school baseball team“. The youth school drama tells the story of a newcomer teacher in a University prep school who aims to take the 5-member baseball team to Koshien while solving student problems. Ninomiya will play the role of the 30 year-old newcomer teacher named Tamo Aoshi. This is Ninomiya’s first serial drama since “Freeter, Ie o Kau” (2010).

“Even if we’re weak we can win ~the ambition of Aoshi-sensei and the amateur high school baseball team” will air this April, every Saturdays at 09:00PM (JST).
