After a flop with “ANDO LLOYD”, will Kimura’s career be resurrected with the revival of his hit drama, “HERO”?
As reported,
It was announced that Fuji TV’s top rated drama, “HERO“, starring SMAP‘s Kimura Takuya will return to small screen after 13 years. “HERO” will be Fuji TV’s getsu 9 drama to air this July.
“HERO” was broadcasted in Fuji TV last 2001 and received an average of 34.3% in audience share. The drama tells the story of Kuryu Kohei (Kimura Takuya), a former delinquent turned prosecutor known for his unconventional methods in finding-out the truth.
The new “HERO” will be set 7 years after the movie (2007) where Kuryu will make his return to Tokyo District Prosecutor Office. Kitagawa Keiko will play the new administrative clerk who will get paired with Kuryu.
“It’s been a while, I’ve come back to the Josai branch after a long time. Thank you for your consideration,” Kimura commented.
Joining Kimura and Kitagawa, are: Kadono Takuzo, Kohinata Fumiyo, Yashima Norito, Sugimoto Tetta, and Hamada Gaku.
