Sakurai Sho Returns as MC for “MUSIC DAY”

Sho returns and Kanjani8 and TOKIO will be there as well.

It has been announced that Arashi‘s Sakurai Sho will return as the overall host for NTV‘s “THE MUSIC DAY Ongaku no Chikara~” this July. This is the 2nd consecutive year that Sakurai will host the show. The huge music program that started last summer will continue this year as they aim to- “Connect people through time and space with the power of music”.

To be broadcasted live from Makuhari Messe, there will be eleven hours of live music with 60 or more sets of artists that will performed with the theme, “famous piece of music that gives power to Japanese people”.

Moreover, since it will be Arashi’s 15th anniversary, TOKIO‘s 20th anniversary, and Kanjani8‘s 10th anniversary; each group will have a special live performance as part of the program’s highlight.

“THE MUSIC DAY Ongaku no Chikara~” will air on July 12th at 12:00 to 22:54 (JST).
