KAT-TUN Gets a New Album + Tour

Ooooh! I know that I’ve mentioned I won’t be writing about singles/albums but this is a MUST.

As reported,

Aside from KAT-TUN‘s upcoming single, “In fact“, the group will also be releasing a new album, titled: “come here” this June 25th. Moreover, the group will also have nationwide tour starting this July.

The announced tour will start at Tokyo International Forum this July 8th, the said venue is where KAT-TUN had their first performance last 2002. For the second consecutive year, the tour will wrap-up with another countdown concert at Kyocera Dome on Dec 30th-31st. They are expected to mobilize 300,000 audiences in 10 locations.

It’s pretty normal for concert to be held at Dome-Stadium but KAT-TUN wishes to see how it is different if they are closer to their fans. Thus, they chose Grand Cube Osaka with only 2,700 in seat capacity for their tour on July 17th-18th. The said distance to their fans is also part of their consideration as the group plans an overseas concert for their 10th anniversary.

Furthermore, this is KAT-TUN’s first tour where there are only 4 of them. “Whether we’re six persons or five persons; the feelings will not change, I just want to think positively since we are here now,” Kamenashi Kazuya commented. Junnosuke Taguchi added that it’s like they are starting again with a new KAT-TUN.
