Kame gets a new drama for winter 2015 and his “JOKER GAME” co-star, the gorgeous Fukada Kyoko, will be his love interest.

It was announced that KAT-TUN‘s Kamenashi Kazuya will star in “Second Love” written by love story expert, Oishi Shizuka. Kamenashi stars together with Fukada Kyoko in this scandalous new genre called “night melodrama”, an adult dangerous love that is more painful than a soap opera.
Kamenashi plays the role of Taira Kei, a young man who pursues his dream of becoming a contemporary dancer while being earnestly in love with an older woman. In his teens, Kei was seen with talent for contemporary dance, he has won many awards that he was likened to a “prodigy”. He went to Germany to join a dance company; however, he suffered a setback in the middle of it and got frustrated. He returns to Tokyo and busies himself with part-time work while he tries to re-capture his dream again.
Fukada Kyoko plays the role Nishihara Yui, a woman in her 30s who teaches Chemistry at a prestigious high school. She sleeps with her male colleague but she was still lonely until she meets Kei and gets swallowed in passion. It’s a love story where the two will face various hurdles such as age difference, living environment, sense of values, and the like.
Kamenashi’s last drama was in NTV with “Tokyo Bandwagon” and “Second Love” will be his first drama for TV Asahi. This is also Kamenashi’s first time to work with Oishi.
“I look at my photos but I’ve never felt sexy. So when I was told that I will do an adult love story, I ask, ‘are you okay with me’, ” Kamenashi commented. Nevertheless, Kamenashi adds that he will devote himself with this night melodrama. He won’t get shy now as he would like to take a peek at the intense love patterns of men and women; and starring in a night melodrama about adult love, he wants to do his best.
“Second Love” will air every Friday at 23:25 (JST) on Jan 2015.

I have watched this drama. Kamenashi as Kei has done a wonderful job both as a dancer and actor. Fukada was a let down to me. The story was rushed into 7 episodes only while originally planned for 10 episodes. I think Johnny’s might have intervened to reduced the episodes since it was getting steamer.

OMG you guys I’m soooo excited about this drama. The plot sounds really good and I love Kame and Kyoko so there’s no way I’m not watching this. I hope it’s as good as it seems.

but wait…I got confuse…What’s with two names? Will Kame’s name Kei or Kyohei? hehehe… just asking since my mind’s in a cob-web right now…so i just want some clarification 🙂

I will edit that, he’s name is Kei but I’ve read a different translation where he’s called Kyohei. But I’m sure its just Kei

Don’t worry Mikuchin. it’s not your fault since I’ve read in some online articles the same errors also… And for me, as much as I love Kyohei, but I would rather have it Kei. Let’s leave Kyohei for YamaNade. hehehe…Kei would be awesome and I love it too…for some anime reasons. hehehe

Hyphens are in riot since Monday especially that the trailer for Joker Game has been out and seeing him in a “bed scene” with Fukada has added to their giri-giri mood…i admit, that includes me…hehehe… though many Hyphens and Kame fans rejected the idea of watching Kame do some adult scenes, but I am okay with it. It will be a great progress and evolution for Kame. Considering that he’s a Johnny’s, we should not worry for an all the way scenes. We know that Johnny’s artists don’t go all the way. So rest your hearts girls and just enjoy the maturity that our beloved Turtle will display… This is Kame and anything with him in it will be worth it 🙂

I think the reason why many Johnny’s didn’t get to be full-pledged actors is because of Johnny’s censorship, they can’t go all out so I hope that this drama will just be intense.

yah. Johnny K has put restrictions on his artist and have this does and don’ts that sometimes are way beyond normal. If only he’ll let his artist do some not-so-wholesome-scene once in a while, it would be great. There are more rooms for growth and progress when it comes to their acting talents. and it’s just a waste of them if not utilize. 🙂

I read the writer’s profile and watched the trailer of second virgin (she was the writer too) and WOW the love scene was so intense and adult-like.
So, I am expecting Kame’s drama would be like that too >_<
